About US

Leva Patidar Samaj of Houston (LPSH) is a vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Leva Patidar cultural heritage in the Greater Houston area while fostering unity among community members.

Founded with the mission of passing our traditions to future generations, LPSH proudly celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary in 2020, marking a milestone in serving the community with dedication and pride.

LPSH is guided by a structured governance system consisting of a Board of Directors and Board of Trustees, ensuring effective leadership and true representation of our community.

What We Do

Throughout the year, LPSH hosts a wide variety of cultural and religious events that bring families together, including:

  • Grand Diwali celebrations
  • Mahashivratri Bhajan programs
  • Holikotsav festivities
  • Garba nights
  • Community picnics and sports events

Our Committees

  • Youth Committee – “Youth of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow” actively engaging members under 25 through cultural, recreational, and leadership activities.
  • Women’s Committee – promoting cultural involvement, leadership, and empowerment among women of our Samaj.
  • Seniors Committee – supporting our elders and ensuring they remain connected and celebrated.
  • Membership & Sponsorship Committees – helping sustain and grow our organization with strong community support.
  • Sports Committee – encouraging fitness, teamwork, and friendly competition.
